Our camping sites offer full water and sewer hookup along with 50-Amp and 30-Amp electricity options. Free wifi is also provided along with with picnic tables and gas grills at every site. Our sites can accommodate campers and motor homes up to 40′ long. Both side slide outs are allowed and all sites are back-in spots. Minutes aware from Presonsburg, KY and quick access to the Mountain Parkway and US 23, David is near a number of attractions should you want to site see beyond the campground. Beyond the adjacent 8.6 mile Prestonsburg Passage Trail, a number of recreational parks are nearby such as Jenny Wiley State Park and Paintsville Lake State Park. Additionally, Floyd County is steeped in Civil Way History where future President James Garfield led the Union Army in the Battle of Middle Creek in 1862. Links to attractions are below.
Prestonsburg Passage Trail
The Prestonsburg Passage is an 8.6 miles paved trail, 17.2 miles round trip, that runs from Prestonsburg to the coal camp community of David, KY where the campground campground is located. There is a paved patch directly connecting the campground to the trail. The trail offers beautiful views of Appalachian nature as well as several historical markers. The trail is open to all ages and can be utilized by bikers, walkers/runners, wheelchairs, and horseback riders. Little to no elevation makes this the perfect trail for all skill levels. A number of side by side trails are open in the area with more currently under construction within the region.
